HISTORY :

Sencha green tea originated in Japan.

In Japanese, "sen" means "to brew" and "cha" means "tea".

It is the most widely consumed tea in the archipelago. It can be drunk hot or cold.

Considered the "King" of green teas.

This variety represents 80% of the harvest. It is one of the teas with the most medicinal properties.

The method of rolling tea leaves dates back to 1738. This process was developed by Nagatani Soen.

It breaks down the cell walls of the leaf and thus allows for a better quality of extraction during the infusion.
