HISTORY :
Assam black tea was discovered in 1823, but the plant was identified as a tea variety in 1830.
In 1838, it was the first product from India to be auctioned.
It is traditionally eaten in England and Ireland for breakfast. The Mays discovered cocoa in Mexico.
It is imported into Spain after the Spanish conquest of Mexico. Its power 30 times greater than sugar makes it an excellent alternative for sweetening herbal teas.
The stevia leaf has been used for centuries for its sweetening power but also its medicinal properties.
The carob tree originates from Syria and produces seeds of perfectly regular size and weight. They are the inspiration for the carat unit of measurement in jewellery.

Assam black tea effectively helps to fight the effects of free radicals. It is also an excellent
stimulant and diuretic. It helps to relieve hormonal pain.
Cocoa bark is a concentrate of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Stevia leaf is effective against high blood pressure and has antiviral properties.
