HISTORY :

The rose has filled us with love since the beginning of time. But to whom do we owe it? According to the legend, to Apollo. More concretely, it blossomed in the Middle East, then Alexander I appropriated it. It seduced the entire Roman Empire and Gaul. Rose oil was developed from the Middle Ages onwards.

PROPERTIES :

The essential oil of rosebuds in creams and care products promises to reduce wrinkles and regenerate skin cells. It is antiseptic and astringent. It is the essential oil of serenity. It can be diluted in bath water or applied as a massage oil.

KITCHEN :

Rose is the queen of infusions and teas. It also flavours sugar or honey and therefore jams and marmalades. Its petals adorn plates with elegance.

Floral cuisine uses floral water instead. In the oriental repertoire, we find the tajine of keftas with rosebuds. On Valentine's Day, for a seductive taste experience, prepare a romantic menu, including poached salmon with rosebuds and a rosebud tartlet. And for your little ones, organise a springtime four o'clock with madeleines and rosebud biscuits. If you have time, surprise them with a taste of rose yoghurt.
