COMPOSITION : DRIED DILL.

HISTORY :
Dill grows in the wild, provided the soil is dry and the climate warm, as in its native lands, Central Asia and the Mediterranean basin. This plant of the Apiaceae family produces flowers from April to July and fruits from August to September, which are generous in essential oil.
PROPERTIES :
Dill is a source of calcium, and when you reach a certain age, you need to increase your intake. It has the ability to eliminate free radicals. It contains dietary fibre, which is good for digestive balance.
COOKING :
The smell of dill is very similar to that of fennel. The plant gives off a subtle aniseed and acidic aroma. Be careful not to overpower it by putting it in the company of strong spices or garlic, for example. Don't overdo it either. The art of the gourmet lies in the proportions!
With lemon and olive oil, dill can be used to cook a beef carpaccio. Its freshness lends itself to the seasoning of salads. Dill is very popular with salmon, cucumber or avocado. Always with a twist of lemon! At a dinner party, it will save the day by allowing you to multiply the combinations.
For a more relaxed evening, everyone wraps their wrap with these same ingredients.
In a sauce, it excels in the company of surimi, for a tzatziki ready in two minutes.
