HISTORY :
The spice blend is so named because it is used in many traditional Lebanese dishes, and is also widely consumed in Syria and along the western Mediterranean coast. It is very easy to use as it can be used in everything, both raw and cooked.
If you like the aromas of this spice, you won't regret buying it because when added to olive oil it becomes an exquisite marinade for your meat and fish. In a sauce, it goes perfectly well (at the beginning and/or end of cooking) with poultry and all kinds of vegetables.
Our blend of Lebanese spices will turn tomatoes, both raw and cooked, into a real delicacy! It can be used in a wide variety of ways, including in meatballs and even on fried eggs !!!! Another variation: for grilling, these spices can replace barbecue spices and herbes de Provence (also available here).
COOKING :
Lebanese spices can be used in all types of cuisine, and are a basic ingredient in Middle Eastern tapas, in rice with lamb.
Our vegetarian friends will be able to concoct an amazing and original rice pilaf thanks to this union of spices! And if you want to keep the potato, we suggest you prepare spicy potatoes Lebanese style: Fry 1 kg of cubed potatoes until golden and crispy; in another pan, heat the oil and fry the garlic and chopped coriander for 1 to 2 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of our Lebanese spice mix, the juice of a lemon, and a little salt (the spice mix already has salty properties) pour the sauce over the fried potatoes and mix .
